Maine Coon cats have a natural coolness to them that is hard to resist. Their fluffy fur, cute faces, and majestic demeanor combined with their kind hearts make them irresistible. If you’ve had the pleasure of owning one, you know how special they are. In Virginia, two particularly attention-grabbing Maine Coons named Paris and Pierre are capturing hearts online with their charming poses and adorable behavior. Their cat mom graciously shared their delightful images and stories, so get ready to fall in love with this adorable pair of felines!
The cats spoke up and shared their interesting story on how they got their names. Paris introduced herself as Paris Cosette, explaining that her humans were engaged in Paris and have always had a fondness for France. Her second name, Cosette, was inspired by a character from their favorite play, Les Miserables. Pierre then added that he was named after something French too, just like his sister Paris. His full name, Pierre Monet, was given to him because his humans admired the famous painter.
Can you describe the personalities of these two furry friends?
Paris is quite the elegant and sophisticated cat. She exudes grace and love, but only when she feels like it. Pierre, on the other hand, has been compared to a frat boy by those who know him well. Despite being a Maine Coon, he seems to embody the spirit of a golden retriever.

Do Paris and Pierre produce chirping and trilling sounds like other Maine Coons? Well, the answer is yes! They chirp whenever they need attention, which is basically all the time, and spend a considerable amount of their day trilling at the birds outside their windows, longing to catch them.
